Canada's capital, situated high above the meeting place of a historic canal and three rivers, combines wondrous attractions with historic sites. Canadian Museum of History discover the wealth of Canada’s culture as students travel across 1,000 years of history through life-size reconstructions. The Museum also houses a huge Imax Theatre.

 

Canadian War Museum provides a spectacular setting for exhibitions that illustrate the way in which human conflicts have changed the face of the world.

National Gallery of Canada has a large and varied collection of paintings, drawings, sculpture and photographs. Although its focus is on Canadian art, it holds works by many noted European artists.

Museum of Science and Technology will allow students to push buttons, turn dials, and pull levers to experience science and technology first-hand, and to see how it has changed Canada and influenced its people.

Canadian Museum of Nature is Canada’s natural history museum. Housed in a 100 year old beautiful heritage "castle", spectacular dinosaur fossils will take students on a 50-million year journey full of great interactive fun.

RCMP Musical Ride Centre here students will meet the majestic horses and be charmed by their beauty and

friendly temperaments.

ByWard Market, where there is always something happening. It is the living heart of Ottawa's oldest commercial district. Vendor's stalls sell everything from honey to flowers, there are boutiques and restaurants abound. This Market offers a unique experience

for all!

Canada's Parliament Buildings majestically represent our law making process.

Rideau Hall here students will see the official residence of the Governor-General of Canada. Since 1867 it has been the residence of the Queen’s representative in Canada and home away from home for visiting dignitaries.

Canada's Supreme Court of Canada, in operation since World War II, will show students the highest court in our land.

Haunted Walk of Ottawa or the Crime & Punishment Jail Tours are also available to entertain and teach students why Ottawa was once called “the most dangerous town in North America”, by exploring its darker past and the hidden side of the of the

Nation’s Capital.
